Gathering Sparks: a Jewish women’s circle for marking 10/7 and what came after
A two-hour online workshop for Jewish women
Wednesday, October 7th, 2026
4-6 pm MT / 6-8 pm ET
Live on Zoom
$36
This two-hour virtual workshop is for Jewish women looking for an opportunity to pause, reflect, and make meaning of their experiences in the wake of 10/7.
This is not a grief support group. I can’t promise you will leave with armor to protect yourself from the daily barrage of antisemitism you see on the news, in your industry, or in your neighborhood. I wish we could fix all that’s broken in our hearts or our worlds over a two-hour Zoom call.
But if you’re looking for
a way to mark the anniversary of 10/7 with intention
a chance to gather in a space where you don’t have to explain or defend yourself
a space to be seen by and bear witness to one another
this is for you.
We’ll begin by lighting a Yahrzeit candle in memory of those who were killed on October 7th and in its aftermath.
Using Jewish texts as anchors, along with journaling, short meditations, and guided conversation, we’ll make space for what we’ve been carrying, honor the complexity of this day, and create a meaningful container for remembrance and reflection.
All you need to join is an open heart, a journal, a pen, and a wifi connection.
About your facilitator
Hi, I’m Pam Moore! I developed this workshop because I was craving a way to mark 10/7 in community and I figured I couldn’t be the only one.
I’m an occupational-therapist-turned, award-winning freelance health and fitness journalist and essayist, with bylines in The Washington Post, SELF, Runner’s World, Kveller, and more.
As a proudly Jewish stand-up comedian and former Listen to Your Mother Show co-producer, I believe deeply in the power of creativity and community to create meaning, forge connection, and find light in the darkness.
I also create and facilitate virtual and in-person gatherings for Jewish women who want more connection, creativity, reflection, and joy in their lives.
